Step 1

You fill out our initial contact form. Give us some brief details about yourself and your trademark branding idea.

We do a quick review of the information and ensure that your trademark has a good chance of being allowed protection by the USPTO. Then an Aspida attorney will reach out to you with a client agreement form and to gather more information about your mark. This ensures we have everything we need to file your mark.

Step 3

Once we have everything we need to move forward and determine it’s the right choice for your business, you pay our fee and we are off to the races. We will file your application and do all the boring stuff for you. And we do mean boring stuff!

Step 4

You will be notified by your attorney that the application has been completed and be given a timeline on when to except the final word from the USPTO. That final word can take as long as 8 months, sometimes longer. But like we said, don’t worry! Feel free to message your attorney anytime to check on the status. Your attorney will also update you along the way.

Congratulations, you have a Trademark for your business

Step 5

You are super official and get to use the magic R-ball symbol to protect your brand. Your attorney will send you a letter saying everything is great and link you to the materials at the USPTO homepage, including your official letter of acceptance.
